Cradlepoint RX20 for R920 Extensibility

A compact ruggedized managed accessory for the R920 Series Ruggedized Router, the RX20-MC includes a modular modem expansion slot that allows a second LTE or 5G modem to be added for dual carrier connectivity and an RS232 port for connecting serial devices.

Location Considerations

The RX20 Series Managed Accessory is intended for use with the Cradlepoint R920 Series router and has the same location considerations. When connected to the R920 router, it may be mounted in a variety of locations and configurations. Consider the following before mounting:

Select a location that will adequately accommodate the height of the combined device.
Ensure that the mounting surface is flat and clear of any obstructions or objects that may interfere with the antennas, signal reception, or cables.
Position the device for optimal cellular and Wi-Fi signal reception.
Avoid mounting in direct sunlight or in locations where it may be exposed to the weather.
Ensure plenty of airflow for ventilation.
Keep the device out of reach. The RX20 is designed to work in elevated ambient temperatures which may cause the surface of the device to become too hot to safely touch.
