Sierra Wireless Releases ALEOS 4.11 for the MP70 Adding Support for LTE Band 14 (FirstNet)
With the General Availability of ALEOS 4.11 for the MP70, Sierra Wireless has added several key mobility features and enhancements including:
- FirstNet Ready LTE Advanced Pro – Firmware support for new LTE Advanced Pro radio module which includes support for LTE Band 14, Priority & Pre-Emption for FirstNet.
- Unique default passwords — Support for random and unique default passwords for MP70 LTE-A Pro devices.
- Custom Telemetry Profiles — Enables collection of non-standard parameters such as seat belt, dash odometer and tire pressure for select vehicle types and models.
- Smart Calibration – Automatic calibration of dead reckoning sensors upon detection of first install in vehicle.
