MultiTech mCard™ Gateway Accessory Cards

MultiTech Conduit® is the industry’s most configurable, manageable, and scalable cellular communications gateway for industrial IoT applications. Network engineers can remotely configure and optimize their Conduit performance through DeviceHQ®, the world’s first IoT Application Store and Device Management platform. The Conduit features Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy (BT/BLE), GNSS, and two accessory card slots that enable users to plug in MultiTech mCard™ accessory cards supporting their preferred wired or wireless interface to connect a wide range of assets locally to the gateway. Available options include a LoRaWAN® mCard capable of supporting thousands of MultiTech mDot™ and xDot® long range RF modules connected to remote sensors or appliances. Quick-to-deploy and easy to customize and manage, the Conduit communications gateway realizes your IoT application.

Application-Specific Interfaces for MultiTech Conduit Gateways

mCard™ accessory cards allow you to add application-specific interfaces to your gateway devices. Select your accessory card or technology from those listed below:

MTAC-GPIO

The MTAC-GPIO accessory card provides a variety of General Purpose IO functionality to accessory card based hardware platforms. This card enables three analog inputs, four digital inputs, and four digital outputs.

MTAC-MFSER

MTAC-MFSER cards are Multi-Function Serial accessory cards that provide standard serial communication for a number of industrial applications using a variety of legacy devices.

MTAC-LoRa Cards

The MTAC-LoRa accessory cards enable long range connectivity to distributed assets and sensors using an RF spread spectrum technology by Semtech®. MTAC-LoRa cards also have extended life due to a low power draw.

The MTAC-LoRa-H and MTAC-LoRa-F accessory cards feature:

• ISM band scanning and asset management range with LoRa of up to 10 miles/15/km line of sight or 1-3 miles/2 km through buildings.
• Listen Before Talk (LBT) capability.
• Bi-directional communications from thousands of mDot™ or xDot® is long range RF modules to a single conduit.

MTAC-ETH

The MTAC-ETH accessory card provides an ethernet connection using an RJ-45 Ethernet 10/100/1000 Connector. The Conduit® gateway uses this accessory card to connect to your network or the internet. When configured properly and combined with the appropriate applications, the device also connects with the Cloud.
